Yellow represents clarity. So make sure to use darker shades of yellow to convey optimism and well-being in general. Yellow is too bright to stand out on its own and will need a backdrop. Refrain from using the eye-pinching shades of yellow, unless you are using it as a warning sign.

While sharing the vitality of the colour red, the colour orange takes a hushed stance. It reveals aspects of friendliness, cheerfulness and even impulsivity. Orange indicates fun and playfulness as well. It is a combination of yellow and red so it carries the characteristics of both colours.
Orange is also suggestive of youthfulness – possibly the reason behind many gaming websites using orange in their logos. Orange isn’t as popular as some of the other colours though.

Black is widely used for text, as it is the strongest and darkest of colours. It could be used to convey something grim or sad. When employed to be used for logos, black often comes across to viewers as being bold, confident, authoritative, classic and even sophisticated in a dignified way.
Black is a common choice for companies It conveys a sense of professionalism and seriousness. Black indicates tradition and standing true to your values. It is also used for power and luxury and is a classic choice for your company.
